A piece like this, where almost everything belonged to the owner, would be $75.00 to make, using my vintage chain. If I add any braille, it will be an additional charge, based upon the metal and technique.
A piece like this would be 165.00 if (as in this photo) fine silver is added. It could be as little as $75.00 if braille is on copper or brass!Steampunk is a great way for you to use existing pieces of jewelry and watches that may be meaningful to you, but that either do not work any longer or that you'd never wear on their own. Working with you, I can create one-of-a-kind necklaces, bracelets and pins to honor your family members.

SHOWN ABOVE Left: Always friends in contracted braille in fine silver (metal clay) with 3 Swarovski crystal drop. Suspended from an antique International Order of Oddfellows women's chapter group number! SP clockworks dangle from it paired with a dab of light blue Swarovski crystal on one side and a vintage former earring made up as a crystal bird with the added peace offering of freshwater pearls in its beak. The necklace is vintage bronze and brass,, as well as freshwater pearl, sterling silver findings and ending in a two-inch extension with freshwater pearl for punctuation!
TOP Right: The braille oval is fine silver clay with the word 'spirit,' representing the relatives to whom the other objects once belonged. The owner's Brownie and signet pins, Mother's watch, favorite aunt's floral brooch, and the crowning piece - Father's 70s cufflinks remade into a fantastical clasp. A work long in progress for a wonderful, perhaps the most patient, teacher in Little Rock - Bette Parker!
